First Annual Meeting

We held our first Annual Meeting on 16 Oct 2017.  The Chair and Treasurer reported on a very successful year where membership has doubled and we are recognised by many local cancer-related agencies.  A committee of 8 was elected to carry the group forward for the next year but all members are encouraged to put forward their ideas for the future.

Following the business part of the evening, we recognised Breast Cancer Awareness month with a small buffet and raised money for that with a ‘pin the badge’ game and donations for the pink ribbon which symbolises the event.  And, we had a drink and a good chat as usual!
